Plain-language summary: Hero Workout is a checklist and streak tracker for a daily training routine. It records what you tell it, entirely on your own device. It is not a coach, a trainer, or a medical service, and it does not know anything about your body or your health. Train sensibly, and stop if something hurts. By using the App, you agree to these terms.
⚠ Exercise carries risk: Hero Workout does not assess your fitness, form, technique, or medical suitability for any exercise. The default routine is demanding and is not appropriate for everyone. Consult a doctor before starting any new training programme, particularly if you have an existing medical condition, an injury, or have been inactive. You train entirely at your own risk.
1. Acceptance of These Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Hero Workout (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
These Terms apply to all versions of Hero Workout available on the Apple App Store (bundle ID com.zibaentertainment.heroWorkout) and Google Play (application ID com.zibaentertainment.hero_workout).
These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle data.

Hero Workout lets you set a daily training routine, adjust every exercise and target, choose which days you train, log full or partial progress against each exercise, track streaks and consistency, and optionally keep progress photos on your device.
3. Not Fitness or Medical Advice — Important
Hero Workout is a personal tracking and organisation tool. It is provided for informational purposes only and is not a medical device, a fitness assessment, a personal training service, or healthcare advice.
- The App does not evaluate whether any exercise, target, or volume of training is safe or appropriate for you.
- The default routine shipped with the App is a general-purpose example, not a programme designed for your body, experience level, or health status.
- The App does not observe your form or technique and cannot warn you about unsafe movement.
- The App does not detect over-training, injury, dehydration, or any other physical condition.
- Streaks, ranks, and consistency figures are motivational features. They are not a recommendation to train through pain, illness, or injury. Rest when you need to.
Always consult a qualified professional — a doctor, physiotherapist, or certified trainer — before beginning or changing a training programme. Nothing in the App or these Terms constitutes medical or fitness advice.
ZiBa Entertainment accepts no liability for any injury, health consequence, or loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the App.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Hero Workout. By using the App you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should review these Terms with you and should be aware of the training you are doing. The App is not targeted at, and should not be used by, children under 13.
5. Licence to Use
Subject to these Terms, ZiBa Entertainment grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Hero Workout on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense the App or any part of it.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except where expressly permitted by law.
- Use the App in any way that violates applicable law or these Terms.
- Attempt to extract the source code, remove proprietary notices, or create derivative works.
- Circumvent, disable, or tamper with any purchase, entitlement, or licensing mechanism in the App.
6. Hero Pass — Paid Plans
Hero Workout is free to use. Its core daily routine, check-off and streak tracking do not require payment. An optional upgrade called Hero Pass unlocks additional features, including full training history, unlimited progress photos, hero ranks, and data export.
Three plans are offered:
- Monthly — auto-renewing subscription (product ID:
hero_pass_monthly) - Yearly — auto-renewing subscription (product ID:
hero_pass_yearly) - Lifetime — a single one-time purchase (product ID:
hero_pass_lifetime)
Prices are shown in the App in your local currency before you confirm any purchase, and are set by us in the stores. The price you see at the point of purchase is the price that applies.
6.1 Billing
All billing is handled entirely by the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). ZiBa Entertainment never receives, sees, or stores your payment card details. Payment is charged to your store account upon confirmation of purchase.
6.2 Auto-Renewal (Monthly and Yearly Plans)
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Your store account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. The one-time Lifetime purchase does not renew and is never charged again.
6.3 What “Lifetime” Means
The Lifetime plan is a one-time purchase that unlocks Hero Pass features without any further payment, for as long as Hero Workout remains available and you retain access to the store account used to buy it. To be clear and honest about its limits, it does not guarantee:
- That the App will be published, maintained, or supported indefinitely (see Section 15 on discontinuation);
- That the App will remain compatible with future versions of iOS or Android;
- Access to any separate future product that ZiBa Entertainment may publish;
- That the specific set of features included in Hero Pass will never change.
A Lifetime purchase can be restored on your other devices using the same store account via Restore purchases in the App. Purchases are tied to your Apple or Google account, not to your device, and cannot be transferred between accounts or across platforms — a purchase made on iOS does not unlock Hero Pass on Android, or vice versa.
6.4 Cancellation
You can cancel a subscription at any time through your store account settings:
- Apple App Store: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions.
- Google Play: Google Play app → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep Hero Pass access until that date. Uninstalling the App does not cancel a subscription.
6.5 Refunds
All refund requests must be directed to the relevant store:
- Apple App Store: Apple refund policy
- Google Play: Google Play refund policy
ZiBa Entertainment does not process refunds directly and has no access to your payment information.
6.6 Price Changes
We may change subscription prices at any time. The relevant store will notify you before any price change applies to your renewal, and you can cancel if you do not accept the new price. A completed Lifetime purchase is not affected by later price changes.
6.7 Free Tier Limits
The free version of Hero Workout applies limits to certain features, such as the number of progress photos kept and how far back your training history is displayed. These limits may change as the App develops. Your recorded training data is not deleted when a limit applies — it simply is not displayed until Hero Pass is active.
7. Your Data Stays on Your Device
Hero Workout stores your routine, your daily logs, and your progress photos locally on your device only. We operate no account system and no server that holds your training data, and nothing you record is uploaded to us.
This has a consequence you should understand clearly:
- We cannot recover your data. If you delete the App, lose or reset your device, or your device fails, your training history and progress photos are gone, and we have no copy to restore from.
- Whether your data is included in your device backup depends on your own iOS or Android backup settings, not on us.
- Hero Pass includes a data export feature so you can keep your own copy. We recommend using it if your history matters to you.
Your Hero Pass entitlement is separate from your training data: it belongs to your store account and can always be restored, even if your training history cannot.
8. Progress Photos
Progress photos you add are stored in the App’s private storage on your device. They are never uploaded to ZiBa Entertainment and are never shared with anyone unless you deliberately share them yourself using your device’s own sharing features.
You are responsible for the content of any photo you add, and for keeping your device secure so that others cannot access it. Do not add photographs of any person who has not consented to being photographed.
9. Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Judging whether the exercises and targets you set are safe and appropriate for you.
- Training within your own limits, warming up properly, and stopping when something hurts.
- Seeking professional advice about your health and your training programme.
- Keeping your own backup or export of any training history you care about.
- Keeping your device secure so others cannot access your training data or photos.
- Using the App in compliance with applicable laws.
10. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, graphics, and branding in Hero Workout are the property of ZiBa Entertainment or its licensors and are protected by copyright and intellectual property law. These Terms do not grant you any rights to ZiBa Entertainment’s intellectual property beyond the limited use licence in Section 5.
The name Hero Workout and the ZiBa Entertainment name and logo are proprietary to ZiBa Entertainment. You may not use them without prior written permission.
No affiliation: Hero Workout is an independent application. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to any film, television series, comic, manga, anime, publisher, or fictional character, and no such association is claimed or implied. Any resemblance between the default training routine and a routine described in a work of fiction is a reference to a widely known exercise format only.
11. Disclaimers
Hero Workout is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ZiBa Entertainment disclaims all warranties including, without limitation:
- That the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always available.
- That your training data or progress photos will be preserved, or can be recovered if lost.
- That the App, or any routine tracked with it, is safe or suitable for you or will produce any particular fitness result.
- That the App is free of bugs, viruses, or other harmful components.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ZiBa Entertainment and its sole developer Zico Bakker shall not be liable for any:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages;
- Personal injury, physical harm, or health consequence arising from exercise you chose to perform;
- Loss of training data, streaks, or progress photos;
- Damages arising from third-party services (Apple App Store, Google Play).
Where liability cannot be excluded by law (e.g. for gross negligence or wilful misconduct), our liability is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for Hero Pass in the 12 months prior to the claim, or (b) €50.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence where such exclusion is prohibited.
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend and hold harmless ZiBa Entertainment and Zico Bakker from and against any claims, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party’s rights.
14. Third-Party Services
Hero Workout uses Apple In-App Purchase and Google Play Billing to process Hero Pass purchases. These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. ZiBa Entertainment is not responsible for the conduct or practices of these third parties. The App does not display advertising and does not include third-party analytics or tracking.
15. Changes to the App & These Terms
We may update Hero Workout, add or remove features, or modify these Terms at any time. Material changes to the Terms will be reflected by an updated “Effective date” on this page. The current version is always available at the URL where you found this document and linked from the App’s store listings.
Continued use of Hero Workout after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not accept the new Terms, please stop using the App and cancel any active subscription.
16. Termination
You may stop using Hero Workout at any time by uninstalling it and cancelling any active subscription.
We reserve the right to suspend or discontinue the App (or any feature of it) at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including technical, legal, or business reasons. If we discontinue the App while you hold an active paid subscription, we will work with the relevant store on an appropriate remedy.
17. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Hero Workout shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the Netherlands.
If you are a consumer in the EU, you also retain the protection of the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence, and you may use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform to resolve disputes.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
