Streaks is a personal habit-tracking app developed by Zico Bakker and published by ZiBa Entertainment (“we”, “us”, or “our”). The app helps you build and maintain daily habits by tracking streaks for activities such as fasting, sobriety, and personal wellness goals.
Your privacy is fundamental to how Streaks works. The app is designed with a local-first, zero-collection architecture: everything you enter stays on your device and is never transmitted anywhere.
By using Streaks, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Information We Collect
We collect no personal information. Streaks does not request, transmit, or receive any data from your device.
The following information is stored locally on your device only and never leaves it:
- Tracker names and settings — the habits and activities you create and configure.
- Streak history — your logged daily progress for each tracker.
- Journal entries — the text you write and the mood ratings you record. These are entirely private and never shared.
- Notification preferences — the reminder times and frequencies you configure.
Streaks does not collect, access, or transmit any of the following:
- Your name, email address, or any other identifying information
- Your location
- Your contacts or calendar
- Camera or microphone data
- Health or fitness data from HealthKit, Google Fit, or any other health platform
- Advertising identifiers
- Analytics or usage statistics
- Crash reports
The app does not require an account or login of any kind.
3. How We Use Information
All data stored by Streaks is used solely to provide the features of the app to you, on your device:
- Displaying your trackers, streak counts, and history
- Showing your journal entries and mood data
- Sending the local reminder notifications you have set up
- Remembering your language and app preferences between sessions
We do not use your data for advertising, analytics, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the app’s core features on your own device.
We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose any data to any third party for any purpose.
4. Data Storage
All app data is stored locally on your device using standard platform storage mechanisms. No data is transmitted to any server operated by ZiBa Entertainment or any third party.
Because your data lives only on your device:
- We have no access to your data and cannot view, retrieve, or recover it.
- If you uninstall the app or clear its data in your device settings, all data is permanently deleted. We cannot recover it for you.
- If you switch devices, your data does not automatically transfer. You are responsible for backing up your data if you want to keep it.
To delete all Streaks data, simply uninstall the app or go to your device’s app settings and select “Clear Data” (Android) or delete and reinstall the app (iOS).
5. In-App Purchases
Streaks offers an optional upgrade called Streaks Pro, unlocked via a one-time in-app purchase. This transaction is processed entirely by the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
ZiBa Entertainment:
- Does not receive, process, or store any payment card details, billing address, or financial information of any kind.
- Receives only a platform-issued confirmation that the purchase was completed, which is used solely to unlock Streaks Pro features on your device.
All payment data is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy or the Google Payments Privacy Notice, depending on your platform.
6. Notifications
Streaks can send you reminder notifications for your habits. These notifications are:
- Fully local — they are scheduled and delivered by your device’s own operating system, with no involvement from any external server or push notification service.
- Entirely optional — you configure them yourself within the app and can disable them at any time in the app or in your device’s notification settings.
No notification-related data (such as delivery confirmations or interaction events) is transmitted to us or any third party.
7. Children’s Privacy
Streaks is a general-audience habit tracker and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because the app collects no personal information at all, there is no specific risk of inadvertent collection from minors.
