Welcome to Sip Sip Hooray (“the App”). This Privacy Policy explains how ZiBa Entertainment (“we”, “us”, or “our”) approaches privacy in connection with your use of the App.
Sip Sip Hooray is a party drinking game designed for adults aged 18 and older, available on Android (Google Play) and iOS (Apple App Store). By downloading or using the App, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the App.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Our core principle is simple: we do not collect your personal data. Everything the App stores stays on your device.
2. Data We Collect
2.1 Data We Collect Directly
We collect no personal data directly. Specifically:
- The App does not require an account, login, or registration of any kind.
- Player names entered in the App are stored locally on your device only, using Android
SharedPreferences(or equivalent local storage on iOS). They are never transmitted to us or any third party. - User preferences such as language selection, content rating, and sound on/off are stored locally on your device only and never leave the device.
- We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, or any other identifying information.
2.2 Data Collected by Third-Party SDKs
The App integrates third-party services that may collect limited data independently. The table below summarises each integration.

3. How We Use Data
Because we collect no personal data directly, our data use is minimal:
- Local preferences and player names are used solely to provide the App’s features (remembering your settings, displaying player names during the game). This data never leaves your device.
- Advertising — AdMob uses device identifiers to serve interstitial ads, which may be personalised based on your interests unless you have opted out (see Section 4).
- Purchase fulfilment — a purchase confirmation from Google Play or Apple is used solely to permanently unlock the ad-free experience on your device.
We do not sell, rent, share, or otherwise disclose any data to third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes.
4. Third-Party Services
4.1 Google AdMob
The App displays interstitial ads (full-screen ads shown between screens) served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device’s advertising ID and other signals to show personalised ads. Internet access is used exclusively for loading these ads.
You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time:
- Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalisation (exact path may vary by device and Android version). You can also reset your Advertising ID here.
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising → turn off Personalised Ads. You can also go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking to manage app tracking.
Opting out means ads will no longer be tailored to your interests, but ads will still appear unless you purchase the Remove Ads upgrade. AdMob’s data practices are governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.
4.2 App Store Platforms
The App is distributed through Google Play (Android) and the Apple App Store (iOS). These platforms may collect their own analytics (such as download counts and crash reports) as described in their respective privacy policies. ZiBa Entertainment has no control over this data collection.
5. In-App Purchases
The App offers a single, optional non-consumable in-app purchase called “Remove Ads” that permanently removes all advertisements. This purchase is processed entirely by Google Play Billing (Android) or Apple In-App Purchase (iOS).
ZiBa Entertainment:
- Never receives or stores your payment card details, billing address, or any other financial information.
- Receives only a purchase token or receipt confirmation from the platform, confirming the transaction was completed.
- Uses that confirmation solely to unlock the ad-free experience on your device.
All payment data is subject to Google Payments Privacy Notice or Apple’s Privacy Policy, depending on your platform.
6. Data Retention & Storage
Local device data (player names, preferences) is retained on your device until you uninstall the App or manually clear the App’s data through your device settings. This data is never transmitted to us and we have no ability to access or delete it remotely.
To delete all locally stored App data, go to your device’s app settings and select “Clear Data” or simply uninstall the App.
Third-party data held by Google or Apple is retained according to their own policies, which you can review via the links in Section 4.
7. Children’s Privacy
Sip Sip Hooray is a party drinking game and is strictly intended for adults aged 18 and older. The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 under any circumstances.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has used this App or that any information from a child has been provided through it, please contact us immediately at info@zibaentertainment.com so we can take appropriate action.
In compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), Google AdMob is configured to not serve child-directed advertising within this App.
8. Your Rights Under GDPR (EU / EEA Users)
If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) grants you certain rights regarding your personal data. Because ZiBa Entertainment does not directly collect or store personal data about you, most rights in practice relate to data held by our third-party partners (primarily Google and Apple). We are committed to helping you exercise your rights wherever possible.

Legal basis for processing (GDPR Article 6): ZiBa Entertainment processes no personal data directly. To the limited extent we participate in processing (e.g. receiving a purchase confirmation), we rely on contractual necessity (Art. 6(1)(b)) to fulfil the Remove Ads purchase, and on our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) in operating a free ad-supported app. For personalised advertising by AdMob, Google relies on your consent as expressed through your device’s advertising and tracking preferences.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App, applicable laws, or our practices. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. The most current version will always be available at the URL where you found this document, and may also be linked from the App’s Google Play and Apple App Store listings.
We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after a revised policy is posted constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
